IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO READ BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION FOR TENANCY

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (Qld), we require you to read and agree to the attached Acknowledgment and Consent Form before we are able to process your tenancy application.

We are an independently owned and operated business, and this acknowledgment outlines how we handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (Qld).

If your application is successful, the personal information provided in this application — and any additional information collected during your tenancy — will be used to responsibly manage the tenancy and the property. This information may be disclosed to relevant third parties including, but not limited to: landlords, letting agents, registered valuers, real estate sales consultants, contractors/tradespeople, Body Corporate representatives, debt collection agencies, credit providers, tenancy database operators (such as TICA), insurance companies, government agencies, and emergency contacts where necessary to manage the tenancy or locate you.

If your application is unsuccessful, and you wish to collect your personal information, you may do so within seven (7) days of submission. After this period, Stamvale Pty Ltd (trading as LJ Hooker Stafford) will take all reasonable steps to securely destroy the application and all associated documents in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
